I 485 case transferred to national benefits center.
In the notice it says it was sent there to “speed up the process”. Other than the obvious, I have no idea what that means nor can they do anything other than adjudicate up until my PD is current. For reference, my i485 EB2 was transferred to NBC last 3/2023. No change at all to status until it was approved on 9/2023.
Here’s another sample I-485 EB approval which was filed in July 2021. I-140 was approved in late July 2021. Case was transferred to National Benefits Center in April 2022. From NBC to approval, it took about 3 months. The 3 to 4-month timeframe seems reliable. See here for more info about transfers to NBC.I am applying for EB2-ROW green card. I am current. Hey, guys, has anyone here had their I-485 transferred to National Benefits Center for processing? My husband and I just got notices that our case was sent there. I looked on the USCIS website for processing times and I-485 is not even on the list of types of applications they process.
