So in my opinion the loot there is not worth the amount of zombies. While you can take infinite water from any sink in the early days of the apocalypse, the water will eventually shut off in Project Zomboid. It's also close to the overrun stronghold, the coast, the storage facility, etc. It's surrounded by unclimbable (for zeds) fences and only has one entrance you can easily blockade. Lots of space for farming and is close to a lot of high value targets loot wise. I've been trying to find decent locations for a base in ravens creek.
