This seems insane. I’m 31 and my husband and I have been married for 13 years. Never thought to try for a child until recently. Not actually trying but not on bc. Last night I thought I was crazy because I could swear I saw a line. This afternoon, decided to get an FRER and WOW. I can’t believe it.

It only tests to see if the hormone is present, not how much of it there is. If you take 6 tests after each other, you can have different shades of lines on each one. It means nothing. It is the presence of the line that is the important thing. So you could buy tests for the next 7 weeks, and still not get a darker line.Re: faint lines for days,,, I would not interpret any result outside of the recommended time frame. Urine tests are not perfect. While FRER tests rarely get evap lines, it does happen. If you did get pregnant from sex on September 27, there would be a dark second line and it would be obvious. The second test that you shown a flashlight through, you were seeing the test line strip that absorbs the urine, not a positive.
