Each tire is different and will give a specific recommended rim width. Depends on the brand of tire. Check out your choices website spec sheet for the tire. You do in fact need a 4in lift to clear 35's as well as trimming. The amount of trimming needed depends on use, driving style, spring rate, vehicle weight, wheel backspacing, tire width, etc. The issue being overlooked here is that the truck in question has tires that do not fit with the use of most drivers.Dec 29, 2021 · 8. Now they relabled their 6" kit to run 33's and their new 8" kit to run 35's. Not saying it cant be done. Just trying to match you up with the right specified kit.Here's 35s on 2.5" levelling kit. You can fit 35s on a 4.5in lift with STOCK offset wheels. -12 and 35s won't work unless you want to cut up your truck. since the zone lift pushes your front track out a good bit. Look through the suspension section. There are a few recent 4.5in lift posts. If you are concerned about that, run the 17" wheels off the newer 2500HDs that are 7.5" wide, or the 17x8.5" wheels that come stock on the Hummer H2s.
